Omnicom reported third-quarter earnings per share of $2.73, $0.07 above expectations. Revenue came in at $6.42 billion, against $6.29 billion expected. The company also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.80 per share, up from $0.70 per share in the same quarter a year earlier.
Chairman and Chief Executive John Wren said Omnicom remains on track to deliver $900 million in cost-reduction synergies in 2026. He said the savings are coming as the integration with Interpublic nears completion, and that they should drive stronger organic growth, margins and earnings per share.
The beat comes as the Interpublic integration nears its end, which puts the $900 million savings target at the center of the next few quarters. Whether those savings show up in margins will decide how much of the quarter's revenue strength carries through to earnings per share. The dividend increase is a second signal of how confident management is in its cash generation as the deal closes out.
