Map: The Middle East, marking Najran
The Houthi movement has said that all mediation with Saudi Arabia has failed, and that Saudi Arabia is trying to impose its own terms on Yemen. Sirens in Najran and Jazan have cleared without confirmed damage dozens of times since mid-September. On its own, the Najran report adds little to that pattern.
The strikes have moved beyond provincial border towns. Attacks this month have included Riyadh and Jeddah airports and Aramco's Dhahran headquarters. Flight operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh were suspended as attacks reached the Saudi capital. The Houthis have claimed a strike on King Fahd Airport in Dammam, and say they targeted an Aramco site in Yanbu and Dammam Airport. The UK has advised against travel to Dammam.
The US Embassy issued an alert over Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia. The State Department said the attacks are increasing and named civilian airports and critical infrastructure as targets. The US has ordered non-emergency staff to leave Saudi Arabia. The UK and France have moved to active military support.
Crude oil is the asset most directly exposed if a strike confirms damage to loading or export capacity. Confirmed output has held through the campaign so far. Claims against Dammam and Yanbu facilities are now outpacing the all-clear pattern seen in Najran and Jazan.
