Paramount Skydance will voluntarily withdraw its Class B common stock from the Nasdaq Global Select Market and move its listing to the New York Stock Exchange. Trading on Nasdaq is expected to end on or about October 5, 2026, with NYSE trading beginning on or about October 6, 2026.
Separately, the company's board has set a record date of the close of business on October 5, 2026 for its previously announced distribution of warrants to purchase Class B common stock. Issuance is expected on or about October 13, 2026. Paramount expects to issue approximately 470 million warrants, each exercisable at a price capped at $16.02 and floored at $12.00 per share.
The warrant distribution is contingent on the closing of Paramount's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, a deal that remains subject to further closing conditions and uncertain timing.
Both the exchange transfer and the warrant issuance are administrative steps tied to that pending deal, which remains uncertain despite recent antitrust settlements. The listing shift mirrors a pattern seen elsewhere in the market but adds no new detail on when or whether the Warner Bros. Discovery acquisition will close, leaving sentiment on the deal unchanged from what recent settlement announcements had already established.
